youngfilms, founded in 2003 by Henning Windelband, develops and produces TV and cinema formats as well as radio plays for children and young people.
youngfilms initially produced 52 episodes of the animated book story āLea & Marieā for Sesame Street. This was followed by 52 episodes of the successful animated TV-series āConniāĀ for preschool children, which was exported in 127 countries. The accompanying audio plays and music CDs were developed and produced with great love and commitment.
Our animated featureĀ CONNI and the Cat won the Gilde Movie Award for the Best German Childrens Movie 2020, youngfilms is pursuing numerous other projects, including the live-action sci-fi series THE MARS PROJECT and the live-action cinema project ANNA SAVES CHRISTMAS. Also in development are serial formats like the live-action series THE FINSTERSTEINS based on the novels of Kai LĆ¼ftner and the animated series JOHNNY SINCLAIR about a young ghost hunter.
